Mr. Wilbanks serves as Senior Vice President of Acquisition & Divestitures for Harvest Midstream Company, a position he has held since January 2021 upon transferring over from affiliate Hilcorp Energy Company. He joined Hilcorp in 2012 and has held positions of Senior Vice President of A&D, Senior Vice President of Lower 48 West, Director of A&D, and A&D Evaluations Manager.
Prior to Harvest Midstream / Hilcorp Energy, Mr. Wilbanks was with Goldman Sachs, Netherland Sewell & Associates, SM Energy, and Burlington Resources / ConocoPhillips. Mr. Wilbanks has 21 years of energy experience with 10 years concentrated in asset management and 11 years concentrated in upstream and midstream M&A.
Mr. Wilbanks holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Independent Petroleum Association of America.
