John Harris is a seasoned real estate developer and investor with more than 30 years of experience building opportunities for everyday people. Through his work, John has helped tens of thousands of first-time property owners access real estate loans and land they might never have been able to purchase otherwise — a mission rooted in his deep belief that opportunity, not dependency, is what changes lives.
John graduated with honors from Sam Houston State University and later attended Baylor University’s MBA program before leaving to pursue his entrepreneurial instincts and launch his next venture — a decision that reflects the same drive and conviction he brings to everything he does.
His connection to All Ears Center is personal. A routine hearing test in second grade revealed that John had been deaf in one ear — something he had never known. While that discovery turned out to be a minor inconvenience in his own life, it opened his eyes to how profoundly hearing challenges can affect children who face far more serious obstacles. That awareness has stayed with him, and joining the All Ears! Center board is his way of doing something meaningful about it.
A proud Montgomery County native whose family has called the area home for generations, John is deeply committed to the communities where he lives and works. When he’s not working or giving back, he can most likely be found somewhere in the wilderness, pursuing his love of the outdoors — though he’ll be the first to admit he never gets out there quite as much as he’d like.
