Louise Crider – Senior Financial Analyst

Louise has held financial analyst positions with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, LP – The Woodlands from 2001 to present, including Senior Financial Analyst, Process Systems Specialist, and Corporate Staffs Finance Manager.  Since 2010, she has served as Corporate Reporting Senior Finance Analyst. Prior to her work with CPChem, Louise held financial analyst and accounting positions with Pennzoil-Quaker State Company – Houston (1993-2001), Penreco-Div. of Pennzoil – Karns City (1985-1993), and Reidbord Brothers Company – Pittsburgh (1982-1985).

Louise received her BSBA in Accounting in 1981 from Robert Morris College, Coraopolis, PA, and her MBA & 5-Yr Cert. in Accounting in 1993 from Clarion University, Clarion, PA.

Louise has been an active member of Institute of Management Accountants since 1985, serving on Local, State and National level from local board member to President (1991-1993); from state board member to Texas Council President (2001-2002); to National Vice President (2002-2004).  Currently serving at local chapter level as Mentor to the President and as ACCE. She also has served on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels Montgomery County since 2014, previously serving as Treasurer and wlll be Chair of the Board as of October 1, 2019. Louise has also held leadership roles for Montgomery County United Way, serving as Chair of the Financial Independence Impact Council, and member of its Community Impact Council and Chair of Panel 1 for the Financial Independence Fund Committee, prior to the 2016 merger with Houston United Way.  Louise has served as a business resource community leader to Lone Star College Accounting Advisory Board since 2009, as a Junior Achievement volunteer at Oak Ridge Elementary school for 10 years, and she is a graduate/alumni of Leadership Montgomery County Class of 2013.

Louise has been an active member of the Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church since moving to The Woodlands in 1993, serving as an Elder, Deacon, Treasurer (5 years), Sunday school teacher, and Confirmation mentor.  She’s also served on the church’s Finance Committee (Chair), Mission Outreach Team and on the Stewardship and Nurture Committees. As a Chevron Phillips Chemical Company employee 501(c)3 organization, Louise has served in various positions up to serving as President (2012-2013), and currently serves as an Advisor to the Board of the Jane Phillips Society Woodlands Chapter.  In the past, Louise has also served as Treasurer of FFA and The Woodlands Operation Graduation organizations.
